Good afternoon to the Bay Area!
It's a beautiful day, 85 degrees and 3 feet here in Newport Beach. Summer is just around the corner, and with that brings warmer water-can't wait. Here's to surfing the cold waters of the Bay, from a native who migrated south.
Here's to great days a the beach

surf sucks, start partying and planning trips. Buy a kite and a set of golf clubs along with a pint of whiskey and a twelver.
The surf at OB is completely going off today. Time and a half over with off-shore breezes prevailing. Lets have a go bro. Psyche! Season is over mates. Better take up kite flying with this hideous onshore wind scenario. That or power drinking whiskey out of a beer bong.
Bro's, its firing down at cowell's right now and where are you? Caught inside at head high windy freezing noriega street? You could be walking the nose with a hundred and fifty of your closest down at the best learning spot in California.Naw, there was actually a couple fun little bowls out front this morning.Tuesday we'll get some surf
DANIA,FL. 3-4'WIND CHOP, ONLY WAVES WE GET IS WHEN IT BLOWS ONSHORE 60 MPH.
Hi, this summer there's going to be a big bash at Newquay, so why not travel down and join in, fellow wave riders.....
Hi from the french area : Lacaneau. We 've got beautiful waves today! I wish you a good surfing.
Hello fellow surfers...I just found this site,so,sorry if I don't know what I'm doing. I'm currently in Georgia right now, and I know what you're thinking, but there ARE some pretty good waves here. There is an island in Savannah called Tybee Island that I drive down to about every spring break. My friends and I usually go bodyboarding,if not surfing, there. The locals are VERY friendly and helpful-just stay away from the egotistical college guys. I use to live in San Diego,so I know what you're thinking about surfing here....but it really is worth a shot if you're around the area. That's about it,thatks for listening:)
Surfed Santa Cruz yesterday and it was 8-10'+ at the lane. The morning was choppy and bumpy but it cleaned up nicely in the afternoon. Went out for about four and a half hours and got out at 4:30 pm . We were just to blasted to paddle out for even one more ride. It was really going off... cant wait for more....
Surfed at Pillar Point Harbor today and found some good waves surprisingly. Everywhere else was blown out and HUGE! Pillar was solid 6 feet on the set waves and caught some great long rides. Couldn't help but think whether anyone was challenging Mavericks today because the swell is pumping.......
thurs dec 5th--FT.PT.--4-6ft--bigger tomorrow.
Surfed Pleasure Point today (Sun Nov 24th)- it was tiny - sets rolled in and one wave per set was rideable, but had a fun time sharing it with a couple of friends and some local sea otters.
The sea almost took my sweet life today. My leash got wrapped around my neck and choked me. Later when I got in the water it was quite rough. I was very frightened
Evening glass off at bolinas was great nice and smooth 3-4.5 feet and fast. Kind of harsh Rip though. Otherwise nice fun surf!
Surfed the South Jetty in Florence, Oregon. It was horrible today. The River is flooding and pushing the waves right back to where they came from. . .
Any body been out today? On shore? Mushy? Killer clean and hollow?
Morro Rock was even bigger today. It was a knarly 10'-12' with occasionally bigger sets closing. By the end of the day, just about everybody agreed that it was out of control. At low tide, Insides (Inside Morro Harbor) started breaking at about a solid 6'-8' off the very end of jetty. I counted two broken boards and three snapped leashes during my two, three hours sessions at the Rock today. I heard Big Sur was to big to surf right now except Molera. Grab your guns. Winter is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey bodyboarders, surfers, other forms of riding waves. Morro Rock was big today. It was about 8'-10' and knarly. Bigger (possibly 12') waves were closing out. I can only imagine that Ocean Beach is going ballistic. Somebody e-mail me and tell me what Fort Point, Deadman's and VF is doing. I can't wait to move there after I graduate!!! aquamane@ix.netcom.com
yo--anybody ever been to jacksonville florida at the end of november???--have family obligations there--would like to know more re:conditions--if there are any--
Surfed San Carp Creek yesterday. It was 4'-6' and very hollow. I was all by myself. There are still private spots on California's Central Coast! The surf is powerful and so is the current but it is well worth the "barrels" of fun that I had. High tide or low tide, this place goes off!! Come join me sometime, the Central Coast has many great uncrowded spots (Big Sur down to Montana De Oro). I don't mind sharing the waves. See ya out there!!!!!!
hello to those of you up north. I am down here at lovely UCSB where we have been experiencing a solid five foot west/northwest swell for the last two days. I can only imagine that all of the northern coast is feeling the pulse twice as much.
oceanside harbor, goin off. 1-2 feet and completely round! i think ocean beach is the call. sucka late
I surfed Ocean beach at Sloat yesterday the 2nd of November and got oil on me. Wait till next week till you guys go out because getting oil off you and your board is not fun. The waves were 3-5 feet but ok. See u guys out there. E-mail me guys!
